Downey Brand launches in San Francisco with two Paul Hastings hires
Sacramento-based Downey Brand LLP has opened a San Francisco office with two hires from Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP. Paul Hastings environmental and land use partner Zachary Walton, co-chair of the Sustainability and Global Climate Change practice, and counsel Jon Welner, who also focuses on environmental law, joined Downey as partners. Downey, Sacramento’s largest law firm, was formed in 1926 currently has 126 attorneys. It has regional offices in Stockton, South Placer and Reno.
