Clifford Chance hires veteran Macfarlanes corporate partner
Clifford Chance has lured veteran Macfarlanes partner Tim Lewis to join their global corporate practice. Lewis joined Macfarlanes’ M&A group in 1985, and was promoted to partner nine years later. Clifford Chance’s global head of corporate Matthew Layton said: “Tim has a great reputation in the London market and a strong track record for developing long-term client relationships with UK and international corporate clients, as well as a strong reputation with senior investment banks. “He’s an excellent fit in terms of our culture and in terms of how he wants to develop his personal practice, particularly the international element.”
