Berwin Leighton Paisner on the up

UK firm Berwin Leighton Paisner bucked the trend last financial year, posting an increase in both turnover and profit, with income topping £191 million for the first time. The income figures represent a six per cent increase on last year’s total of £180 million. The firm’s new Moscow office, opened at the start of the 2009 calendar year, gave a boost to the firm’s income in this financial year. Profit per equity partner increased by nine per cent from £414,000 to £455,000. The firm had 91 full-time equivalent equity partners last year, compared with 84 the previous year.
