Halliwells no more?

Halliwells is in negotiations with Hill Dickinson for the sale of its business in a deal that would lead to the dissolution of the firm and the end of the Halliwells brand. If the plan goes ahead Halliwells will give up the ghost in the next week. This news follows the firm’s hemorrhaging of partners over the last year, with 10 per cent of the partnership resigning in a matter of weeks last autumn, after which nearly all the firm’s Healthcare partners defected to Beachcroft in February, while eight partners and 70 other staff resigned to set up Kennedys' new office in Sheffield.
