Dacheng Law Offices launches new Hong Kong practice

Beijing-based Dacheng Law Offices has opened the doors on a new Hong Kong office, where it will compete in the recent boom in finance and mergers. Dacheng is Asia’s largest legal firm by number of lawyers, with an 835 lawyer head-count. “Hong Kong is a bridge between the international and mainland capital markets so it’s important that we’re here,” said Dacheng’s Yang Jinzhu, a Hong Kong-based partner. Dacheng will work in association with Hong Kong- based Wong Poon Chan Law & Co, and plans to have 15 partners in Hong Kong by the end of this year.
