Simpson Thacher & Bartlett launch UK funds practice after CC hire

US firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett is set to launch its UK funds practice after the hire of Jason Glover in the London office. Glover was formerly a partner and head of the funds practice at rival firm Clifford Chance. “We are delighted that Jason will join us,” said Pete Ruegger, Chairman of Simpson Thacher’s Executive Committee. “Jason is one of Europe’s preeminent private funds lawyers. His addition to our London office will complement our internationally recognized funds practice group and significantly enhance our ability to meet the needs of our clients in Europe and globally.”
