Former Home Minister of India faces charges for murder, kidnapping, extortion and destruction of evidence

Former Home Minister Amit Shah has been charged with murder, kidnapping, extortion and destruction of evidence in the fake encounter killings of gangster Sohrabuddin and his wife Kauser Bi in the year 2005. Shah is represented by Senior Advocate Ram Jethmalani (President of the Supreme Court Bar Association) along with criminal lawyers from Gujarat, Nirupam Nanavati, Devang Nanavati and Mitesh Amin.
