Linklaters, Slaughter and May lead $2.6 bn bank branch sell off
Linklaters and Slaughter and May have taken leading roles on the deal $2.6 billion acquisition of 318 branches of the Royal Bank of Scotland by Spanish bank Banco Santander.
Slaughter and May provided legal counsel to longtime client Santander with a team led by Frances Murphy and including corporate partners Andrew Jolly and Roland Turnill, as well as finance partner Robert Byk.
Linklaters advised the Royal Bank of Scotland, with a team led by corporate partner Matthew Middleditch.
