AZB buys Turkish cosmetic companies for Dabur
Dabur has acquired a 100 percent stake in three Turkish companies belonging to the Hobi Group comprising of Hobi Kozmetik Imalat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi; Zeki Plastik; and Ra Pazarlama. In a deal worth USD 70 million Dabur will acquire the Hobi group companies which is a market leader in Turkey with a 35 percent share in the hair gel category. Dabur is one of India’s leading FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) companies. Dabur is also one of India’s most trusted name and the world’s largest ayurvedic and natural healthcare company. The Delhi office of AZB & Partners advised Dabur with Partner Gautam Saha and Senior Associate Sachin Mehta taking lead.
