US firms Lathrop & Gage and Kamlet Reichert conclude merger deal
Lathrop & Gage and Denver firm Kamlet Reichert have agreed to merge under the Lathrop name. The merged firm will have a headcount of close to 300 lawyers.
"It's exciting to add the sophisticated corporate and real estate acumen that Kamlet Reichert attorneys provide, not only in Denver, but for our clients nationwide," Lathrop CEO Joel Voran said in a statement. "This addition of talent in Colorado makes our business law team one of the most dynamic west of the Mississippi."
Voran has engaged in a strategy of expansion since taking the helm at Lathrop three years ago, merging with regional competitors like Husch Blackwell, Polsinelli Shughart, and Stinson Morrison Hecker, acquiring Los Angeles litigation shop Spillane Shaeffer Aronoff Bandlow, and opening an office in Chicago.
