Adelaide Australia branch of DLA Phillips Fox breaks away

DLA Phillips Fox's Adelaide office has broken away from the firm, merging with taxation and commercial specialist Rankine Tucker under the banner of Fox Tucker. The move was not unexpected, and is a precurser to the merger between DLA Phillips Fox and DLA Piper. Fox Tucker’s new Managing Partner, Jo DeRuvo said that the split was amicable and that given the DLA network's focus on cross-border work, "it made sense for us to look at disengaging the firm, as our strategic objectives were different."
