Mayer Brown sells UK corporate secretarial arm to outsourcing company TMF

Mayer Brown has concluded an agreement with outsourcing company TMF for the sale of its UK corporate secretarial arm. Under the deal, five secretaries from the firm’s London corporate support unit in London will transfer to TMF. TMF has acquired a number of secretarial services in the last four yeas, including a deal with Clifford Chance in 2009 and with accounting firm Ernst & Young in 2006. Peter Dickinson, who heads up Mayer Brown’s City corporate practice, said: “The sale of our UK company secretarial business to TMF forms part of our ongoing strategy of focusing on our key strengths.”
