Wachtell hires lawyer from US Federal Reserve

Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz has hired Patricia Robinson, who joins the firm from a role as assistant general counsel at the US Federal Reserve. Robinson’s work at the Federal Reserve saw her overseeing applications for bank deals and the formation of bank holding companies. Wachtell has been involved in many of the largest deals since the start of the financial crisis, advising on 41 deals worth a total of $102.3 billion so far this year.
