New French law firm focused on energy law

French lawyer, Mounir Meddeb, has left Ashurst's Paris office to establish his own boutique. Energie-legal is focused on energy law. Mounir Meddeb has significant experience in the energy sector and network industries; before joining Ashurst, Mounir was the head of a legal department of the Commission de régulation de l'énergie, the independent administrative body in charge of regulating the French gas and electricity markets (between 2003 and 2008). Mounir holds a PhD in law and a postgraduate degree in EU law.
