DLA Piper says its focus is more on opportunities from Indian business and technology and is not looking for local Indian work
DLA Piper, is arguably one of the largest law firms in the world is not looking for local Indian work. Or so it would have us believe. In an interview with financial daily Mint, the firm’s co-CEO Lee Miller said that it’s not lobbying the Indian Government or the Bar Council of India for entry into the country. Miller goes on to say that the firm’s real focus is to understand what’s being done in the Indian legal market and the opportunities that can be derived through entrepreneurship since a major focus of the firm is business and technology.
