Lucknow Lawyers move against order of the Indian High Court

The Allahabad High Court has issued an order directing an investigation by a high powered task force against lawyers who have criminal cases against them. Following this order, the Central Bureau of Investigations registered 11 First Information Reports against lawyers in Lucknow. It has been reported that there were a total of three thirty cases were registered against lawyers between 2005 and 2010. Lawyers in Lucknow have responded by filing a Special Leave Petition against the order.
