Skadden boosts Palo Alto litigation practice with hire of solo practitioner

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom has secured the hire of Silicon Valley solo practitioner Allen Ruby. Ruby will bring his successful litigation practice to Skadden on 1 January 2011, and will work from the firm’s Palo Alto office. "I've known the Skadden folks for a long time and we've worked on a number of things of the years, so the beginnings of this go back a long way," Ruby said. "I decided to do this because it's such a great opportunity."
