Quinn Emanuel hires Olswang litigation head

US litigation boutique Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has scored a coup with the hire of Martin Davies, the head of litigation at Olswang. This is the second time that a high profile litigator has left Olswang for Quinn Emanuel in recent months, with disputes star Alex Gerbi making the move in May. Since the litigation department at Olswang is in pretty good shape, commentators have surmised that the move might be attributable to the high profits at Quinn Emanuel. The firm recently filed its accounts for 2009, revealing that its highest earning London partner made £1.5million.
