Delhi HC: If jailed politicians can race elections ordinary prisoner can pursue studies

The Delhi High Court decided to allow an accused doctor to pursue her studies as right to education is our fundamental right. When jailed politicians can contest elections, why can’t an ordinary prisoner pursue studies, said the Delhi High Court. Dr. Sonal Jain who is accused of impersonation in a medical exam, wants to pursue further studies and continue post-graduate (PG) studies at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
