Howrey loses another partner in Washington

Howrey has suffered another in a series of defections the departure of antitrust specialist Mike Cowie to the Washington office of rival firm Dechert. The news comes hot on the heels of the announcment that the co-chair of the firm’s litigation practice Gary Bendinger was leaving to join Sidley Austin along with litigation partners Gregory Ballard and Kevin Burke. More than 60 partners are reported to have left the firm in the last year.
