Bar Counsil of India Member arrested for issuing BCI Certification to a Law College
The Central Bureau of Investigations last night arrested Bar Council of India Member of the Legal Education Committee, Rajendra Singh Rana on charges of demanding bribe, from law schools in India reports the Times of India. Various law colleges complained against Rana, and thus an enquiry was carried out which led to Rana’s arrest, while demanding bribe from a Law College based in Ghaziabad. The CBI arrested Rana along with one other person, who Rana claims is his lawyer and was discussing a law school case with him.
