Sullivan & Cromwell announces generous spring bonuses

January 24, 2011 Sullivan & Cromwell has announced a generous spring bonuses for its associates. The firm has decided to the 2010 year-end bonuses, announced in December, with a generous sum: for junior associates the springtime bonises equal to the end-of-year bonuses, meaning that these associates are getting twice as much bonus money as their friends at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Davis Polk & Wardwell, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, and Debevoise & Plimpton.

The Sullivan & Cromwell springtime bonus scale is as follows:

Class of 2010: $2,500
Class of 2009: $7,500
Class of 2008: $10,000
Class of 2007: $10,000
Class of 2006: $12,500
Class of 2005: $15,000
Class of 2004: $17,500
Class of 2003: $20,000
2002+: $20,000
