Cravath loses star M&A partner to JP Morgan

M&A partner James Woolery is set to leave Cravath Swaine & Moore to join the financial institution JP Morgan. Woolery will work alongside Christopher Ventresca at the bank as co-head of North American M&A from 7 February. “Cravath is the great American law firm,” Woolery said. “The opportunity to work with Chris and manage J.P. Morgan’s M&A business is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at a premier franchise.”
