Hogan Lovells appoints Stephen Kay as LA managing partner
Hogan Lovells has announced the appointment of corporate partner Stephen Kay as the managing partner of its Los Angeles office. Kay takes over the role from litigation partner Neil O'Hanlon, who will return to full-time fee earning. Kay said that the firm doesn't have specific growth targets, but that the LA office could grow from 30 lawyers to 50 lawyers in the next one or two years if the firm finds the right people, noting that the corporate and securities practice and the IP group are obvious candidates for expansion.
