Indian firm AZB in hiring spree

Indian firm AZB & Partners has hired 26 new lawyers, including fresh graduates, in an effort to bolster its ranks. In the past six months the firm lost key alliances with magic circle firm Clifford Chance and the Bangalore-based Anup Shah, and saw around 20 lawyers depart its Mumbai office. Among the newly recruited lawyers is UK-and-India-qualified Manas Chandrashekar, previously of Simpson Thacher.
