Shearman & Sterling announces spring bonuses
Shearman & Sterling has announced that it will be paying spring bonuses in New York, following the scale set by Cravath Swaine & Moore for the spring payment.
As Above The Law points out, the lateral market usually gets busy after payment of the end of year bonus, but the spring bonuses will likely encourage many to stay where they are until the payment is made in April.
The bonuses are as follows:
Class of 2009 — $7,500
Class of 2008 — $10,000
Class of 2007 — $15,000
Class of 2006 and above — $20,000
