Boies Schiller posts 3% revenue boost
Despite increasing its gross revenue by three per cent to $305 million in 2010, litigation firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner saw profits per partner fall by 11 per cent to $2.6 million. The drop in profits was due, in the main, to an expansion in the equity partnership from 34 to 41. The firm also bore the cost of awarding generous associate bonuses in December, which were well above the market standard. Lawyers who had been with the firm for at least a year were awarded $75,000, while the highest-performing associates were given over $200,000.
