Weil Gotshal takes Bear Stearns legal chief to run global operations

Weil Gotshal & Manges has recruited the chief operating officer for legal & compliance at Bear Stearns as its new global executive director. David Strumeyer will be responsible for the administration of the firm's overall operations and will be based in its New York City headquarters.
