Gibson Dunn & Crutcher on the spring bonus bandwagon

Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has taken the decision to grant spring bonuses to associates, matching the market with payments equal to those awarded by Cravath Swaine & Moore. As pointed out by AboveThe Law, the firm has had a year of record-setting profits, and the announcement is thus no more than is fair. Certainly, compensating associates at a level under the market standard is no good for firm image or associate morale. The details of the spring bonuses, to be paid on 29 April, are as follows: Class of 2010: $ 2,500 Class of 2009: $ 7,500 Class of 2008: $10,000 Class of 2007: $15,000 Class of 2006+: $20,000 Of Counsel: $20,000
