Davis Polk & Wardwell elects new managing partner

Davis Polk & Wardwell has announced the election of Thomas J. Reid to the role of managing partner. Reid is currently head of the firm’s corporate department, and takes over the role from M&A partner John R. Ettinger, who has headed the firm for the past 12 years. “I am grateful to have worked closely with John Ettinger for the past several years.
