DLA Piper promotes 53 to partnership globally
DLA Piper has announced the promotion of 53 lawyers to the partnership in its global promotopns round for 2011, up from 41 last year. There are 17 new partners in the firm's US practice, Asia gets seven, and 18 are in continental Europe. DLA joint CEO Nigel Knowles said: "We are delighted at the appointment of so many talented lawyers to the position of partner. DLA Piper remains focused on recognising and rewarding outstanding talent across our regions and practice areas and in these lawyers we have the future of our law firm."
