AZB, Anderson Mori and JSA advise Kokuyo on $79.78 million stationary company acquisition

June 1, 2011 Japan's Kokuyo S&T Co. will acquire 50.3 percent stake in stationary products maker, Camlin for estimated Rs. 360 crore ($79.78 million).

Japanese firm, Anderson Mori & Tomotsune advised Kokuyo with a team led by partner Hiroki Kodate along with associates Ryo Kotoura and Ryo Okochi.

AZB & Partners acted as Indian legal advisor to Kokuyo with a team led by partners Alka Nalavadi and Roxanne Anderson.

The Mumbai office of J Sagar Associates advised Camlin and the Promoter Dandekar Family with a team led by M&A partner Nitin Potdar along with partner Rinku Bhiwandkar and associates Neha Bhatia and Abhilash Chandran.
