Law firms make Houston-Mexico alliance
Houston-based law firm RAB Law Firm has formed an alliance with Mexico City-based practice L&T Law Firm. The agreement allows RAB to pursue civil litigation and transactional matters in Mexico: “It used to be that companies could hide their funds and assets in other countries. Now we have the resources to properly resolve those kinds of cases,” said Ricardo Baca, RAB founder and managing partner. For L&T, the alliance means that it can provide clients with access to the US economic market. “This alliance provides us with a great opportunity to understand the legal environment in another country, not just in theory but in effective practice,” said Viveros, one of L&T’s founders.
