Jones Walker merges with Mississippi firm Watkins Ludlam

Louisiana law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre and Mississippi law firm of Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis have announced plans to merge by January 2012. The deal will give Jones Walker an additional 67 attorneys and three Mississippi offices in Gulfport, Jackson and Olive Branch. The combined firm will have 375 attorneys in 15 offices.
