Axiom Law finds success offering cheap legal services

September 16, 2011 Interesting article here about Axiom Law – a legal service provider successfully operating in Washington DC with a very non-conventional structure. According to the article Axiom is not technically a law firm – its attorneys don’t do litigation or give legal advice – but it offers cheap rates for project-based work on transactional matters, contracts and regulatory and compliance-related research.

Axiom employs around 600 full time lawyers worldwide, most of whom work from home or clients’ offices. Most have at least eight years of law firm or in-house legal experience and make an average salary of $200,000 a year.

Last month, Axiom reported 80 percent year-over-year revenue growth in its local office.
