Norton Rose in merger negotiations with Canadian firm Macleod Dixon

International law firm Norton Rose is in merger talks with Canadian firm Macleod Dixon, with the aim of boosting its resources practice. Norton Rose confirmed that the negotiations were under way, saying: “We are currently in discussions with Macleod Dixon and once we have completed that process, we will be in a position to comment.” Macleod Dixon is known for its work in the mining, energy and resource sectors, and has offices in seven cities including Caracas, Bogotá and Rio de Janeiro.
