Thorp Alberga boosts offshore practice with three partner hires
Offshore law firm Thorp Alberga has boosted its boutique practice with the hire of three partners in its Cayman and Hong Kong offices. Linda Martin joins the firm from a role as head of the London and Dubai Finance and Corporate Groups at Walkers. Before that she spent time as a partner with Maples and Calder. Anne Todd joins the firm from a role as Head of Asset Finance at Walkers in The Cayman Islands. She was previously with Maples and Calder in London. Matthew Stocker joins the firm’s Hong Kong office from the partnership at Appleby in Hong Kong, before which he was a partner at Maples and Calder in Cayman and Hong Kong. Cayman Islands head Michael L Alberga said: “We are a successful boutique practice with all the flexibility and personal approach that brings and these attributes are enhanced by the heavyweight experience of our partners.”
