UK firm Watson Burton loses another four partners
Watson Burton has lost four partners this week, continuing a steady run of departures over the past two years. RollOnFriday reports that the firm had 29 partners last year, and is now down to just 18.
A spokeswoman for the firm said that the firm had "faced some tough trading conditions over the past few years and has re-positioned [its] business model to ensure that we provide the highest quality of service to our national clients and achieve future growth...This year we have welcomed a number of gifted lawyers and... there are more appointments and promotions in the pipeline which we will announce in due course".
