Legendary Entertainment hires partner from Munger, Tolles & Olson as GC

Burbank-based media company Legendary Entertainment has hired J. Martin Willhite as its general counsel. Legendary has offerings in film, television and comics, and has produced several box office hits under a contractual partnership with Warner Brothers Entertainment Inc, including Inception, the Hangover franchise, and Clash of the Titans. Willhite was previously a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson. "We are fortunate to have Marty join our team at Legendary," chairman and CEO Thomas Tull said. "His extensive legal experience with entertainment, capital markets, and financial transactions will benefit Legendary on a going forward basis."
