Clifford Chance explores alliance with fast moving Chinese firm

Clifford Chance is exploring an alliance with Chinese firm Broad & Bright. Broad & Bright has 20 partners, 40 associates, and is one of China’s fastest growing firms, posting annual revenue growth of around 30 per cent for the past couple of years. Broad & Bright was established in 2005 by Liu Hongchuan, Feng Yao, Yuan Changchuan and Ji Jun, all of whom are US-¬qualified. The firm frequently works with international firms – which are banned from practicing local law under Chinese regulations – on cross-border deals.
