Mumbai-based Nasikwala Law Office takes on equity partner from Juris Corp

Mumbai-based firm Nasikwala Law Office has hired former Juris Corp partner Freddy R. Daruwala. Daruwala will join the firm as an equity partner to head the firm's taxation and IPR practice. Nasikwala Law Office is a four-partner firm with three associates, and was launched in June 2011 by ex Juris Corp Partner Huzefa Nasikwala. The firm is currently focused on real estate, arbitration, banking and finance, but there are plans to develop into a full-service law firm. Daruwala commented that he aims to focus on building the taxation and IPR practice of the firm, taking advantage of his experience as both a CA and a lawyer to cater to the growing niche segment of transfer pricing and IPR related issues.
