More partners walk away from Dewey & LeBoeuf

US firm Dewey & LeBoeuf has not yet managed to stem the flow of departing partners, with another two announcing their intention to leave the firm’s London office. Commercial litigator and co-head of the environmental litigation practice Nicholas Rock is leaving to join Reed Smith, while junior corporate partner Prakash Paran is shifting to DLA Piper. Paran is followed by two London colleagues: of counsel Roger Loo and senior associate Melanie James, both of whom join DLA as of counsel. These latest departures bring the total number of partner defections close to 50 since January.
