O'Melveny in for Rowling on Harry Potter copyright case

In the legal war of words over the right to publish a Harry Potter lexicon, author JK Rowling did not come unarmed. O'Melveny & Myers partner Dale Cendali, who is representing Rowling and Warner Bros in Warner Bros Entertainment v RDR Books, said the lexicon was “massive, wholesale, willful copying beyond anything that could possibly be excused by the ‘fair use’ doctrine”.
