Juris Corp partner and Banking & Finance expert leaves firm

Juris Corp Mumbai Partner Nisar Ookabhoy has resigned from the firm for personal reasons, and is now 'looking for opportunities to join an organization which wishes to avail of my 40 years experience in banking and finance'. Juris Corp Partner Detty Davis confirmed the departure, saying: “We wish him all the best”. Juris Corp has seen a degree of movement among its partner ranks in recent months, with Vandana Sekhri leaving the firm for Amarchand Mangaldas in January, and Freddy Daruwala leaving to join the equity partnership at Nasikwala Law Office in March. The firm also hired two partners, recruiting Ranjit Shetty from Hariani & Co for the Mumbai office and former FoxMandal partner Sandeep Kumar Mahapatra for the Delhi office.
