K&L Gates opens in Shanghai

Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis (K&L Gates) has launched an office in Shanghai – its fourth base in Asia – as the US firm continues to build up its international presence. The 1,500-lawyer firm currently has around 40 lawyers in its existing local branches in Beijing, Hong Kong and Taipei.
