SRA licences property company to offer legal services

London property company Crabtree Property Management is set to become the first multi-disciplinary alternative business structure, securing a licence from the Solicitors Regulation Authority to include legal services in its offerings to clients. The company plans to launch a niche, fixed-fee property litigation firm called Crabtree Law when its licence becomes effective on 1 September. The legal practice will be led by James Naylor, who has been the company's in-house lawyer for two years. He will be the firm's sole legal adviser.
