Slater & Gordon acquires local firm to expand in Tasmania
Australian law firm Slater & Gordon has grown its presence in the state of Tasmania by merging with Tasmanian personal injury firm Hilliard & Associates. The merged office will be led by Brian Hilliard, the name partner of Hilliard & Associates, and will operate under the name Slater & Gordon in Association with Hilliard & Associates. Hilliard said: “Slater & Gordon is a well-known Australian brand but we’ve always found that Tasmanians want to deal with local people with local expertise so that is certainly what Hilliards brings to the table.”
