Swedish law firm Magnusson launches in Latvia

Swedish firm Magnusson has established an office in Latvia after hiring a team from Baltic firm Varul. The launch of the Riga base continues Magnussen’s expansion, following a launch in Estonia in March and hires in Sweden in January. Meanwhile the firm is also expanding in Minsk with the addition of two lawyers who have been cooperating with the Riga team in the Belarusian market. The Riga office will be led by a founding partner of Varul, Gints Vilgerts, who brings his entire team of four partners and eight lawyers.
