UK firm Ashfords offers just £12,500 a year for paralegals
Ashfords are being offered out at just £12,500 a year, which is less than two thirds of what its local competitors pay.
The jobs are being advertised in Bristol, Exeter and Taunton, with the advert calling applicants with a degree and / or the LPC, and stating that the ideal candidate will have relevant property experience. Pretty demanding for a job that pays about £40 for each full day of work.
By contrast, Burges Salmon pays its Bristol paralegals "above £20,000", and Osborne Clarke said it paid "a starting salary of around £20,000".
