Top earner at Macfarlanes took home £1.16m in 2011-12

November 12, 2012 The top earning partner at UK firm Macfarlanes during 2011-12 took home £1.16m, which is 47% less than last year's top payout of £2.2m, though that figure included payments relating to the partner's retirement.

Macfarlanes revenue grew by 7.9 percent in 2011-12 to £102.2m, while the profit pool increased 5 percent to £29.5m.

Macfarlanes senior partner Charles Martin said: "Last year was a pretty good year and we were reasonably pleased with the outcome. This year is going well, but it is too early to call."
